Nowadays, most of the apps are designed for global use and it is very important to care about regional trails like languages, time zones, etc. It’s important to validate the app’s functionality when someone changes the time zone. It has to be taken into consideration that sometimes western designs may not work with the audience from eastern countries or vice-versa.
In other words, opening the Pandora’s Box of mobile testing and development is not for the faint of heart. But for those courageous souls who have dedicated their lives (or at least careers) to mastering the art and science of software quality assurance, let’s continue with a closer look at five of the biggest challenges facing QA testers of, say, native apps. (While we’re focusing on testers in this article, it’s good to bear in mind that the majority developers, especially on agile production teams, also perform testing throughout the mobile-app production cycle—around 72% of them, according to our survey.)
found your article really interesting…I hav a ques regarding the estimation part of testing mobile..as we all know that testing estimation techniques for traditional sofwares are available but for mobile apps the existing ones are adapted to be used in mobile domain….so what strategy do you suggest in this concern…
Many people or companies do not have the resources, whether it’s those to do the work or the money to spend even hundreds of thousands of hours on an app, let alone millions. That does not mean that a new app should not be built. It just provides the right perspective for how to approach building a quality, first version of the app.
This is one of the apps that pays you whether you decide to engage with an ad or not. The one huge difference between Slidejoy and other apps like this is that it’s incredibly difficult to determine when they pay you for unlocking your screen.
The answer to this is quite interesting. There are some crashes which may not be visible on the UI but they are logged on crashlytics. It could be out of memory crash or some fatal exceptions which may impact the performance later.
