There is a multitude of network simulation tools available to test mobile apps against network speeds, bandwidths limitations, connection drop outs, and more. These network simulation offerings add exceptional value to the testing activities. For a mobile app to win, it needs to deliver consistent performance across diverse network environments.
Expect to earn anywhere between $.50 cents and $2 downloading apps with GrabPoints, which is great considering that this process doesn’t take a lot of time. However, there are only so few apps to go around. I tend to check back once a week for new offers. If you’re looking for other tasks to complete, watching videos is the second best way to earn cash with this app.
Used wisely, in-app purchases can generate a good revenue – the mobile game developer Supercell boasted to earn $1 million a day on purchases in their Clash of Clans game. Pokemon Go users spend about $1.5 million on in-app purchases daily.
The top game on the overall list is Piano Tiles by Hu Wen Zeng, who saw his app installed 223’000 thousand times. It offers a premium version, which main advantage is to remove the ad, but it looks like no one opted for that at least on the 2nd of May. Further revenue comes from in-app advertisement.
In many respects, mobile testing is not all that different from other types of IT testing. From methodology all the way through to most of the actual testing tools, what quality assurance organizations and experts have learned in non-mobile testing can be applied to mobile testing.
I found this article very useful along with a healthy discussion. But it is lacking some new tools for automation of mobile test like Appium or Selendroid which are latest and widely used in industry. Although I am a manual tester and does not prefer automation to manual testing, but still with today a wide range of devices and os they are using I recommend testers to go through these tools.
As you might imagine, this isn’t necessarily a quick way to make money but once you’ve got a few investors in your phone book it can prove to be very lucrative in the long run. If you’re interested, I recommend reading this book.
1. Identified Types of Testing – It was a mandatory requirement that the application has to work in all iOS and Android devices as the end consumers can have diverse devices. To ensure that the app worked in all the devices we selected  combination of manual testing, automation testing and testing in cloud simulator – Device Anywhere.
These instructions often ask you to perform a set of tasks within the app. As you perform these tasks, your on-screen actions (and sometimes even your eye movements and facial expressions) will be recorded, so developers can understand more about how you experience the application. Some tests will also require you to express your thoughts out loud into a microphone.
This type of testing’s fundamental objective is to ensure that the application performs acceptably under certain performance requirements such as access by a huge number of users or the removal of a key infrastructure part like a database server.
That ‘free’ tag, even if you include in-app purchases, has a huge amount power. Get the users in before you ask for their money, and give them the best experience you can without them having to pay. If you’re holding back features, make them non-essential but nice to have, so that your most dedicated users cough up.
As you can see, there are over 22,000 people that have rated this app on the Google Play store alone. It’s not some fly-by-night money-making app, but actually a legitimate opportunity for you to save hundreds (or thousands!) of dollars.
This is really great. I have had the app for almost three weeks (?) and I’ve already cashed out $15 to PayPal and got it. My problem is I am stuck on the same tasks and have been for almost a while freaking week! It keeps saying that they will refresh but they havent. I think you have to complete most of the task before they can refresh and that’s also my problem. A few of the task I have already done but keep getting and the others just won’t work. I have like 7 ‘gift card’ tasks for 333 points but I have to go through all this extra offer crap that I don’t want to and when I try and it looks like it worked, I don’t get my points. I often get new tasks that do work when I am at my workplace or anywhere outside of my house. Which I’m sure you can imagine stinks. So basically right now until it ever does refreshes I have to leave my house to actually do anything. Oh well, I’ve still gotten more money with this app in three weeks than I have with any other app or stupid surveys.
As mobile solutions and apps become increasingly more business relevant, the scope and depth of transactional features expand and so the need for well-designed and validated system integration solutions has to be addressed as well. When specific systems are needed to remotely manage a fleet of handheld mobile devices (Mobile Device Management or MDM), the mobile solution should bevalidated and tested against the main func-tionalities of the MDM systems:
Mobile devices have very limited memory as compared to other computers, and mobile operating systems have a default behavior to terminate applications that are using excessive memory and causing a poor user experience.
Userinput currently provides its website testing opportunities through Amazon Mechanical Turk. However, you can also apply to test apps through the application on its website. You’ll get paid $5 per app test, with more information provided after you are accepted.
I live in a West African country called Liberia. Will Google allow me to publish apps on Google play store since my country is not listed on the merchant wallet and publishing country list? If I’m not allowed then how can I sell my apps since I don’t have a website.
This is the problem that BrowserStack, and other companies like it, set out to solve. These companies offer cloud-based test automation software and processes that enable you to test your app in virtually any simulated mobile device environment and in any test scenario. The test automation can eliminate steps for your QA staff, such as checking out app navigation, displays of data and images, and even data access, retrieval and update to a database.

Typical payments are £5 to £30 per article, and forumites have written about everything from sport and wildlife to finance and casinos. Some MoneySavers have suggested that article approvals can be patchy and it’s often slow to accept new writers – a couple of things to watch out for.
On the other hand, I have seen smaller blogs try to do this and completely fail because it’s competitive and if you can’t send them anyone to apply, it’s pointless for them to post a job. Jobs can be anything from, writers to trainers.
It is also an emerging practice to ensure that the developers use the emulator for fast execution during the development phase whereas then the testing team should test with the real device during the testing phase in order to ensure overall Quality Assurance goals and targets. To save on cost, they can consider using Virtual Mobile Testing tools. These services offer developer to test their application on wide variety of handsets using different mobile networks geographically located throughout the world (useful for applications using GPS). Such services are offered on hourly basis and are very cost effective compared to buying new phones.
The catch is the app is invite-only in certain areas. Roamler’s press office says it’s pretty easy to get one if you monitor its Facebook page for hints on how (or you might get lucky if you request one).
The biggest complaints all have to do with technical issues — the company has always paid out to its user and there are many payment proofs on the Web for them. However, it is clear that errors come up again and again when using the app.
Amongst the top 50 overall free apps in the Apple App Store the biggest earners are Clash of Clans ($168’000 revenue per day, 33,700 downloads per day) and Pandora ($120’000 revenue per day, 34’900 downloads per day). Ten more apps earn money from in-app purchases and the rest are completely free.
This is technically more difficult, because you have to create a payment system. Typically this would require some form of payment-holding company such as PayPal, and will entail giving away some of the the money you make. And unlike advertising or sponsorship it can be difficult amounts of revenue to predict.
You need Microsoft Word, at least a C in GCSE English and must be able bash out at least 65 words per minute. It pays per minute of audio, and not minute of your time, so it’s only worth it for super-fast typists (take a speed test to see how you measure up).
Mobility introduces new levels of complexity to QA and test management that most enterprises aren’t prepared for – numerous technology platforms, OS’s, devices, use cases, network connections and carriers. Mobile, web and hybrid apps have to be tested across several permutations and combinations. All in more compressed cycles than ever before.
Viggle is great for those who enjoy watching television or listening to music. This money making app accesses your microphone and pays you when it detects that you’re doing one of these two activities.
This is one just for users in the US, but if you’re willing to do a few mystery shopper tasks (going into stores and checking stock levels of a specific item, timing how long customer service takes, taking photos etc.) then you can earn cash in exchange for your time.
