Many apps end up being used during brief moments between activities, or while waiting for something to happen (such as waiting in line). Making your app snackable means making it enjoyable to use in those short 2-5 minute bursts of time.
Can you recommend what technologies eg. ASP.NET, PHP .NET should be used to accommodate these security issues as well as what languages would be best used for the client and server side to make the app as lightweight, scalable, expandable and secure as possible?

All the talk is nice, but when’s marketplace going to be opened for everyone? I’d like my application certified before Windows 8 hit the market, and ideally without stalking MSFT evangelists and events for a registration token.
Many people or companies do not have the resources, whether it’s those to do the work or the money to spend even hundreds of thousands of hours on an app, let alone millions. That does not mean that a new app should not be built. It just provides the right perspective for how to approach building a quality, first version of the app.
