Knowing what you’re good at in life will help you be more successful. It will also help you build your app more efficiently and effectively. Currently about to purchase your ebook, but just wondering I have an app idea, for my company to distribute to the teams we cover, so we can monitor their sports games in real times using a simple app. we have filed a design patent on the overall design, we created a prototype using Ruby on Rails, as a web application (the idea is not for web). I have 36,000 teams across the nation ranging from 8U – 14U every athlete, parents and Coach, Needs the app. it will be free to view but cost to post up scores/stats We already have endorsement and backing by major companies. Our issue is Late term funding to get the app created for IOS and Android, devices along with Ipad, and Smart watches. we are only about 15k from our goal which is a quarter of what we have already invested not to mention man hours. How do we get Funding without losing any Equity, Loans from the bank were denied. because our company is a non profit organization, and we have no collateral or credit. do you think Crown funding can work! are there any other options?
Just a note on User Testing. I have been trying to get started with this for over a week. I am having issues getting the recorder installed on my PC and have not been able to get anyone from UserTesting to help me. My emails just get a standard reply email sending me to a link. Tweeting them gets no response. Calling them gets me a recording with no option to leave a message. Their responsiveness lease A LOT to be desired and I have just given up trying.

  1. The biggest two ad networks are iAds and Admob – the first being Apple and the second being Google. I’ve talked to a lot of developers and most agree that iAds pay out better. Typically it’s a pretty small CPM (cost per thousand impressions) that’s under a dollar and a CPC (cost per click) that can be a few bucks.

We need to be very much cautious about mobile app updates. People frequently complain about applications not working satisfactorily after an update. So it is very important that under the update testing, we qualify that the App will work as it was working previously. In a nutshell, it should not break anything. Mobile application updates can take place in two ways − Automatic update and Manual update.
