You need 1000 coins to earn a dollar. I spent over an hour and earned 88 coins. The time consumption isn’t worth the pay. And for those of you who’ll say but it’s free money! I’m sorry but my time is more valuable than ten cents an hour
As part of Validately’s testing panel, you can take screen-recorded tests or talk live with a customer as you perform a website test. Most tests take between 2 and 5 minutes and are on a first come, first serve basis. You’ll receive an e-mail link if you qualify for a new test, and new tests are added daily. Earnings depends on the length and complexity of the test, but you’ll get paid via PayPal within 7 days.

These instructions often ask you to perform a set of tasks within the app. As you perform these tasks, your on-screen actions (and sometimes even your eye movements and facial expressions) will be recorded, so developers can understand more about how you experience the application. Some tests will also require you to express your thoughts out loud into a microphone.
App publishers should do a market research, define target users, check other app developers success stories. The main challenge is to get awareness, acquire loyal users and choose the right revenue model. Developers should plan more targeted ad campaigns to promote the app and its releases, constantly provide updates on features, use more blended and unique revenue models to deliver value to users. This will lead to greater profits and help keep your customers satisfied.

Banners. Banner ads usually appear at the top or at the bottom of a screen and have some text and graphics. Banners are considered to be relatively unobtrusive, as users are able to keep using your mobile app even if a banner is active. However, banners have low click-through rates (CTR) and heavily depend on brand recognition (users are far more likely to click if a banner advertises some well-known brand).
Shoppers, this one’s for you. Shopkick gives you points for visiting stores, browsing (and scanning product barcodes while you do), and buying certain items. Different stores will have different offerings, some giving you points for just walking in the door while others will only reward you for buying products. Offers change frequently, so keep an eye on the app to see which stores are offering points before you head out shopping. Though Shopkick requires a bit of effort to keep up with the available rewards, it’s a good way to earn some cash just by doing the shopping you’re already doing.
Retain some control. If you upload photos of yourself (or friends/family with consent), it’s worth going for the ‘rights managed’ licence option – otherwise you’ll have little to no control over how your images are used. See Alamy’s page on understanding stock image licensing for more on the different types of licences.

UserTesting is great but you have to get in their quickly because tests are often snapped up by other members in no time at all.

Requiring a similar level of tech input, but a more involved sales process, is sponsorship. If you have a specific type of app that attracts a niche group of people it is possible that a partner would want to sponsor all of it for a specific time in order to get their message across to your audience. You need the contacts in order to strike the deal, but a sponsorship is typically much more valuable than is run-of-site advertising. For a unique share of voice any decent sponsor should be willing to pay more than the cost of all the individual advertising slots.

  1. Real Mobile devices when used in the developing stage for Unit Testing and similar purposes could turn out to be harder to connect to the IDE than the emulators and this causes tremendous problems for debugging and in a project with timeline constraints this may very well hamper the overall conclusion of the project.
