If you have an app on a store, you’re going to get feedback from users. Often, this will be unnecessarily harsh feedback. But don’t be disheartened, as this is the natural course of any online feedback mechanism. Read them, and respond to those who have had problems running your app. Fix problems as you see them. Fight fires as they pop up – it’s not going to be fun.

I have been a primary developer of Barcode Scanner (Android Apps on Google Play) since its inception in 2008. In 2012 I created a for-pay version to fund the OSS project, called Barcode Scanner+ (Android Apps on Google Play ) This was a standard free / open source + premium for-pay app model, so may be of interest.
All the talk is nice, but when’s marketplace going to be opened for everyone? I’d like my application certified before Windows 8 devices hit the market, and ideally without stalking MSFT evangelists and events for a registration token.
Sponsorship placement within the application can be a powerful app monetization model if provider builds the right niche app for tailored users and launch it on behalf of another company. 1. For the curious, the monetization via the ‘plus’ app did raise a reasonable amount of revenue over the years from 57,500 users, to offset development costs. It’s been charity-ware for over a year, and raised about $20,000 of that for environmental causes. Which leads to …
Do not recommend TryMyUI to anyone. Is this TryMyUI a valid company? They appear to be a rip-off scam. They do NOT paying their testers, not replying to messages, emails, no one answers the phone. I’m betting everything is fake about this company…sign up suckers (like me) for free tests, not pay them and wait for the next sucker…
When it comes to earnings, MooCash is definitely at the bottom of the list . No matter how many times I seem to unlock my screen, I can’t seem to earn more than $3 – $5 per month at most. If you’re going to choose just one lock screen app, this one should be last on your list.
It doesn’t have to be this way.  The vast majority of software firms already recognize the value of investing in the development of mobile apps, so it only makes sense to extend that investment into testing mobile apps as well, despite all of the added cost and complexity that programming and testing for a vast array of mobile platforms entails.  In the long run, the extra work involved in quality assurance usually pays off.  And in a world where Gartner estimates that $26 billion dollars in revenue was generated from 102 billion mobile app downloads in 2013, and we may be seeing over 268 billion downloads per year by 2017 (or around $68 billion dollars), that potential payoff for automating android testing may be worth taking seriously.
