Compatibility testing has got the highest stack when it comes to mobile application testing. The purpose of a mobile app compatibility test, in general, is to ensure an app’s key functions behave as expected on a specific device. The compatibility itself should only take a few minutes, and can be planned well in advance.
If you enjoy the thrill of playing the lotto, give Lucktastic a try. It’s a free app that lets you play games akin to scratch-off lottery tickets—and like lotto tickets, your rewards can be pretty random. Every day you get a handful of new tickets to scratch off, each of which will reward you between five to 10 points. Eventually, you can turn those points in for cash or gift cards, but just like the lotto you have a chance to win more instantly—up to $10,000. Scratching off your tickets will only take a minute or two, and though the earnings are small (unless you win one of the big prizes), they add up over the course of the month. Plus, because it’s free you’ve really got nothing to lose—beyond a tiny amount of time—by playing.

Those kinds of questions can usually be answered by the most common quality-assurance practice for mobile apps: manual testing. Using the actual smartphones or mobile-OS tablets at their disposal, testers can perform a variety of usability and functional tests on apps under development, checking features such as sign-up and login fields, menus and navigation, touch gestures and scrolling, input key functionality, screen size and GUI appearance, connection speed and data handling, interruptions (such as how your app responds to an incoming phone call or text), operating system versions, crashes and error messages (does your app display an actionable message or simply stop working?), accelerometer response, etc. Seeing how an app functions in real time on a real device is, of course, an irreplaceable testing method, and testers should try this on as many of the most popular devices that they can get their hands on (or enlist beta testers to help).
Hi Andrea, I’ve tried Enroll and UserTesting. Enroll’s tests are very short (usually one to two questions), and they generally pay 10¢ to 25¢ per test. I found the majority of these testing websites via Google and then searched on the Ripoff Report, Glassdoor, and the Better Business Bureau websites for negative reviews. While I didn’t find any negative reviews on Analysia, you’re correct; there are a lot of typos and grammatical errors, may be a sign of a potential scam. For this reason, I’ve decided to remove them from the list. Thanks for stopping by TWAHW!

Thanks for stopping by! I’ll have to do a little investigating to see what’s going on with Analysia. Several years ago, I was an active tester with them and would have the opportunity to take a test or two maybe once a month, but nothing more than that. Perhaps, as you suggest, they’ve simply gone out of business or have too many testers and not enough tests.

Google App Maker is the newest low-code tool featured in this roundup, but even so there’s a lot to like in its consistent, straightforward design and comprehensive set of form builders and drag-and-drop capabilities. Moral of the story – If ever you are in a doubt, then just don’t conclude it yourself. Comparing with the other similar apps on the same platform can strengthen your argument that the functionality under test will work or not.
Every day there are thousands of new apps released into the app store and it’s getting harder and harder for developers to get attention and get noticed. That’s where you come in! As the number of apps available keeps increasing, people are becoming more and more reliant on independent app reviews from real app users like you.  Often the first thing people think to do when they are considering downloading a new app is search for reviews on it, and this is how you can make money testing and reviewing apps.
That ‘free’ tag, even if you include in-app purchases, has a huge amount of power. Get the users in before you ask for their money, and give them the best experience you can without them having to pay. If you’re holding back features, make them non-essential but nice to have, so that your most dedicated users cough up.
For Example, Samsung S2 size is too small when compared with Nexus 6. There are high possibilities that your app layout and design get distorted on one of the devices. Probability is low in iOS as there are only countable devices available in the market and out of those many phones have similar resolutions.
